Career Coaching

Meeting with a career coach throughout your undergraduate experience is a crucial step in your career development journey. Whether you're planning to enter the job market or continue into graduate school, we recommend scheduling at least one meeting per year. Career coaches are dedicated to guiding you through various aspects of your professional growth, including:

Assessing your values, interests, personality, and strengths
Designing a personalized career action plan
Developing a standout college resume
Planning for valuable internship experiences
Discussing and preparing for graduate school
Networking and building meaningful connections
Strategizing and executing your full-time job search
Preparing for successful interviews
Negotiating offers and making informed decisions

Schedule a career coaching appointment

Schedule an in-person or virtual appointment through Handshake using these steps.

Go to Handshake.
Select Student log in and enter your CAS credentials.
Select Career Center.
Click on Appointments.
Click on the Schedule A New Appointment button.
Choose School of Public Health 15- or 30-minute Career Coaching Appointment.
From the list of options, select the most appropriate Appointment Type.
Use the buttons to filter Staff Member, Appointment Medium, or Date Range and select an available appointment.
Complete the Appointment Request Details and click on the green Request button located in the bottom right corner.
You will receive a Hankshake-branded appointment approval e-mail outlining additional details.
