We serve undergraduate students who have declared or are exploring majors with the School of Public Health-Bloomington, along with graduate students, Ph.D. candidates, -postdoctoral scholars, and alumni. Career Services curates career education content and resources in the SPH-B Career Services Canvas Site. SPH-B students are are automatically enrolled in this course and have access to this on-demand content any time. The Canvas site includes self-paced and interactive modules on career exploration, professional brand, networking, and job and internship search strategies.

Building connections with professionals can be one of the most effective ways to learn more about career pathways and discover opportunities. Our career coaches can guide you on understanding the best practices or networking, how to research and prepare for career fairs and other recruiting events and how to build and leverage your own network. In addition to career coaches, The Career Services staff includes a dedicated team of employer relations professionals who build partnerships with employers to recruit SPH-B students for internships and full-time opportunities. Take some time to log into Handshake and research fairs and events at Indiana University and specifically SPH-B. Then, set up an appointment with a career coach to prepare for these events and begin building and leveraging your connections with employers and alumni.
